COVID 19 - REMINDER
Just a reminder, that if your child has one of the 3 main symptoms (continuous cough, temperature or loss of taste or smell), they should self-isolate with the rest of the household and get a test from a test centre.
Primary pupils should not be using the Lateral Flow Kits that are supplied to secondary school children.
Please inform school immediately on firstname.lastname@example.org
If your child has wider symptoms please book a test at a test centre and again inform school.
For eligible families to access a hamper, please email email@example.com ASAP or by 9am tomorrow.
The hampers are not being automatically sent to school this time. If you do not give consent no hamper will be received.
EASTER HOLIDAYS HAMPERS
If your child is eligible for Free school meals and would like a hamper, please follow the guidance below.
We are asking that you agree to let us pass on your child's details and address to the 'Neo Community' for them to fund and deliver the hamper. This is the company who previously has funded this in the past.
Please email your child's name to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are wanting a hamper and giving consent by Monday @ 9am at the latest.
UPDATE - 12.3.21
What a lovely week it has been. Having all the children back, the hustle and bustle in the classrooms, the joy of hearing learning along with happy faces in every class.
A very big thank you for being so patient while we were having the playgrounds revamped. The plans for drop off and collection of children now will not change. Here is a quick reminder...
Drop off: Years 1-6 @ 8.35 - 8.45 and Foundation 8.45am (foundation children will line up approx 8.40 to help parents and reduce the flow of people at the gates)
Pick up: Foundation 3.05pm, years 1&2 @3.10pm (from the classroom door). Year 3-6 will leave @3.10pm.
Please continue to stay beyond the grey gates and listen for the call to enter the gates.
Please can I ask you to continue to social distance and wear a mask unless exempt.
Stay safe and again thank you to all the children, parents, staff and governors.
It was lovely to see all the children back today. I have been to all classes and they are all working away as if we have had no lock down at all!
The school is chatty and busy just the way we like it.
Thank you to everyone for following the system this morning. It was smoothly done and quick.
Once again tonight, if we can follow the same routine I would be extremely grateful.
The playground is looking fabulous, I am just in the process of writing the risk assessment and then we can begin to use it. The contractors have started on the KS2 playground so by Friday the children will have wonderful spaces to play.
I hope you have all had a lovely time to yourself so far today.
WIDER OPENING UPDATE - 7.3.21
If you are using a car to bring and collect your child/ren to school from tomorrow, please do not park on the yellow road markings or by the electricity hub. You will be asked to move. If it is possible for you to walk to school rather than in the car
then please do so.
We need to make the entrance to school as safe as possible, parents and children will be socially distancing on the pathways as waiting is not allowed on school site.
Only arrive at your allocated time. We maybe able to adapt these arrangements once the contractors have completed their work on school site.
Thank you for your cooperation

Children will have a staggered start and finish -
Year 5/6 – start @ 8.35am and leave @ 3.05pm
Year 3/4 – start @ 8.40am and leave @ 3.10pm

Year 1/2 – start @ 8.50am and leave @ 3.20pm
Please make sure you are on time and not before.
Please wait outside of the grey gates until your child’s year group is called, this is to reduce the amount of people in a small space. The children will be escorted onto site by staff. Mr Croft, Miss Cotgrave and Miss Lynch will meet the children at the gates.
Adults must wear a mask and where possible one adult only to collect and drop off.
Guidance is stipulating that schools must ensure stringent social distancing to reduce the transmission of COVID 19.
As the playground is not available to be used these are the arrangements.
Thank you for your cooperation
UPDATES FOR WIDER OPENING ON MONDAY 8th MARCH
As part of the plan in getting the children back to school on Monday 8th March, your child’s class teacher will be setting up Zoom meetings. This is a chat about their time in lockdown, any worries about returning to school and if they would like any additional help in class.
Please keeping checking for your child’s zoom link. These meetings will be either whole class, group or individual depending on the year group. The meetings will be taking place next week.
If your child is already in key worker provision this will be done mostly in school.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
