Foundation 2
Home Learning Page
Dear Parents/Carers
As part of home learning, for the rest of the week children will need to access their class home learning page on the website which have been turned into activities on the Dojo app.
Starting on the 11th, the home learning section of the website will change. Children will need to access the Lockdown home learning section of the website. This will then give them the option to select the Foundation Unit, Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & 2), Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 & 4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 & 6).
In this section the children will have access to 3 hours’ worth of learning per day including daily phonics, maths and guided reading tasks. Additional learning resources will be provided in the form of links to online game resources to extend your child’s learning and don’t forget to log on to Numbots!
We will be having our first Zoom meeting on Wednesday 06th January 2021 at 09:30, the link for this has already been sent out. This is to check in and make sure everyone is able to access zoom.
Each week the Foundation Unit will take part in a Zoom meeting on Mondays and Fridays at 09:30 to both launch the learning for the week as well as close the week to celebrate your child’s achievements. Weekly links will be sent out via class dojo.
We will be available every day to answer any of your questions via class dojo, so if you need anything please just ask.
Daily activities will be listed for your child to complete on dojo and I can’t wait to see your child’s work, so please upload photos to the portfolio section of class dojo.
Obviously the safest place for you to be is at home, however if necessary packs can be made available for you to pick up from the school office. Please request these on class dojo if needed.
Many thanks
