Lesson 2
adorable, applicable, incredible, possible, climb, subtle, castle, fought, rough, borough
Today’s activity involves alphabetical order. I would like you to rewrite each of the spelling words in alphabetical order. For example, adorable becomes aabdelor. Once completed, rewrite the word list itself into alphabetical order.

Lesson 2 – I can retrieve information to describe a character.
In the extract, we are introduced to the horse named ‘Ginger’. The extract is full of interesting description about the character, enough to create a clear picture in the reader’s mind of the horse.
Your first task is to either find and copy, or highlight if you have printed the extract, all description that is included in the text about Ginger.
The second task is to draw Ginger based on the description that you have been given. Make sure to follow how Ginger is described in the text. After that, label your drawing with the description from the text as this is your evidence.
Once you have completed your drawing and labelling, I would like you to answer the following question:
Why does Ginger keep being sold on by her owners?
In this lesson, we are going to be using first-hand observation to enhance our local awareness of the areas we live in order to determine how sustainably we are living.
