Welcome to the Foundation Unit Remote Learning Page where you will find a breakdown of the weekly activities for both F1 & F2 as well as some link to additional educational resources to support your child's learning and well-being. Daily activities will be send directly to you via the Dojo app to meet the remote learning requirement of 1.5 hours for F1 and 3 hours for F2. I completely appreciate the pressures we are all under during lockdown and remote learning may be a challenge. Please make sure that your first priority is a happy home and remember if you feel you can't do any remote learning, a little bit of learning is better than no learning at all!
To launch our remote learning every week I will be holding a Foundation Unit assembly via Zoom. The assembly will take place on Friday mornings at 10:30 and you will be sent a link to this assembly via the Dojo app. I completely appreciate that many parents work and may find it difficult to attend, in such cases myself and Mrs Sparks (Wellbeing Co-ordinator) will find other ways to contact you to support you and your child at a time better suited.
Remember I am hear to support you and will be available every day to answer any of your questions via class dojo, so if you need anything please just ask.
Obviously the safest place for you to be is at home, however if necessary packs can be made available for you to pick up from the school office. Please request these on class dojo if needed.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
