Topic: Here We Are - Oliver Jeffers
Today we are going to look at different animals and their habitats.
Have a look at the Habitats PowerPoint below.
We would like you to sort the animals into the correct habitat for them. There are quite a few sheets, so we would advise you to print them off 6 to a page - this is what we would do in school. Alternatively, you could name the habitat type and list the animals underneath.
When you have sorted all of the animals, have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8WHKRzkCOY
What do you think is wonderful about our world?
Have a look at the phonics spotter postcard below. Underline or highlight any words with the sound –ey. Can you think of any –ey words?
Have a look at our new spellings. What do you notice about them? Can you think of any more?
This week we are looking at the book "Owl Babies".
You can listen to the book being read here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPQRiSTYFHo
Below is a selection of activities for you to choose from. Please select one or two to complete each day.
